Education for Sustainable Citizenship in Early Childhood recognises the interdependency of peoples within and between nations, the ecological interdependencies of the natural world, of humanity and nature, and most significantly the interdependency of adults and children.  This workshop will provide a briefing on the very latest international developments in the theory and practice of Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship in Early Childhood Education. Participants will be provided with PowerPoint, pdf poster, and video resources that have been developed to support practitioners in developing effective practice in this area. The materials include an identification of progression in terms of curriculum and pedagogy across the early years.
